Project: Help develop early service offering and provide brand input on key client projects.
When: 2003 to present
What: A start up business, founded by Julian Treasure (author of Sound Business) and incorporated in 2002, needed help developing strategic tools for assessing the brand requirements that inform audio brand work.
How: Worked closely with Julian and key members of his team to develop auditing techniques and supporting tools. These were then given names that fitted into a simple brand architecture, many of which have later been used to illustrate activities described in Julian’s book.
Outcome: Since first working with The Sound Agency we have gone on to assist them in developing strategic brand insights for key client projects; BAA (to propose how to use sound at LTH T1-5), Homebase (to define the desired soundscape for all their retail outlets), and Honda (to create a brand sound for Honda Europe).
