PRA

Project: Brand strategy, visual identity, launch event, publications and website.

When: 2006

What: Originally established 80 years ago by organisations such as ICI paints and Akzo Noble. PRA, (Paint Research Association) needed to refresh its brand. The organisation was suffering from a lack of purpose or vision prior to the arrival of the Jonathan Bourne as Managing Director.

How: Three months research into the operation. Qualitative reviews with senior stakeholders (staff, members and customers). SWOT analysis, market /customer segments agreed, new values agreed, a proposition, mission, clear vision and new brand ID.

Outcome: A compelling proposition which has helped to rally the worldwide team together and galvanise a new excitement and confidence about the future and the organisation’s true capabilities.
